PawPals Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026.

This policy describes the PawPals: Pixel Dog Care iPhone app, published by William Neil Maish. For questions, contact dirtyhandsupport@gmail.com.

Game data stays on your device

PawPals saves its game data locally on your device. This includes your dogs and their names, breeds, coats, needs, personalities and lessons; care history and timers; daily levels and rewards; the saved home time zone; local profiles and gifts; inventory and room items; currency balances; verified purchase identifiers; and app preferences.

The app does not create a player account or send this game data to an app-operated server. It does not include advertising, third-party analytics or tracking. Local profile names identify players within the game; they are not online accounts.

Optional purchases

Apple handles purchases of optional consumable credit packs through the App Store. PawPals receives the product and transaction information needed to verify a purchase and deliver credits. It saves transaction identifiers locally to avoid delivering the same purchase twice. PawPals does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password.

Apple processes payment and App Store information under its own privacy practices. See Apple’s privacy information.

Sharing and backups are your choice

If you choose to share a dog portrait or export a saved game, the app opens the system sharing options. The destination you select receives the shared image or file. PawPals does not automatically publish portraits or upload backups.

Exported backups contain your saved game, credit balance and purchase identifiers. Keep them private and share a backup only with someone you trust. A storage or cloud service you select may retain the exported file under its own practices. Backup import reads only the file you select and restores its saved snapshot into an eligible fresh game; it does not create a cloud-sync account.

Support correspondence

If you email support, William Neil Maish receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. That information is used to reply, investigate the issue and keep a support record. It may be held in email correspondence using the email service’s storage and security arrangements.

Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or unrelated personal information. You can ask about or request deletion of support correspondence by emailing the same address; identify the message or issue so it can be located.

Keeping and deleting data

The local game remains on your device while the app and its saved data are retained. Deleting the app can remove the local save. Exported files, copies you have shared and backups held by your chosen storage provider remain where you saved or sent them until you delete them there.

PawPals does not operate a remote player database that can restore a deleted local game. Completed consumable purchases are not an App Store backup of your wallet. A usable exported backup restores only the state contained in that file.

This website and external services

This policy’s statements about no app analytics or tracking describe the PawPals app. Visiting this website, following an external link, using email or choosing a storage/sharing service involves that service’s own hosting, logging, cookies and privacy practices. This policy does not claim that the website or those services use no analytics or cookies.

Updates

If PawPals changes how it handles data, this page will be updated with a new date. The app’s support screen links to this policy.
